Settling in.

I've been back with my parents for a few days now, and it's going...okay. After being mostly away from them for two years, living with them again is strange, to say the least. I almost drove all the way out to Parkland after work the other night. I stopped myself right before I got on the freeway. It made me a little sad.

There have been some good things though. And here is a short list.
-Reconnecting with some old friends on Skype. It's been a long time since I had good enough internet for that.
-Fitting all of my furniture into this tiny room. With (some) room to walk and TWO bookshelves.
-The release of the Dollhouse dvds. That unaired 13th episode is phenomenal. So brilliant. Joss Whedon is amazing.
-James Morrison
-My Pineapple Orchid room spray. I like walking into a bedroom that smells yummy.
-Cleaning. Getting rid of old childhood junk is oddly theraputic.
-Smoothies. I made one today with strawberries, blueberries, vanilla yogurt, and a dash of orange juice.
-Pictures. I miss my roomies already, but the super cute picture my dad took of us at graduation is on my desk now, which is nice.
-Texting. To connect with aforementioned roomies.
-My Webster's dictionary. It just won me an argument. For the record, artiste is an actual word.

Anyways, I'll be posting more frequently (in theory) now that I'm all moved. We'll see what sort of awesome things happen that will make me grateful.
