Grad Schools!

Well, today I have had an interesting day. It has been very lazy, which I totally didn't want, but I have made a LOT of progress on the Grad School research front! I now have a list of four top schools, four middle schools, four that I'm maybe considering, and then four that I need more info about (or are in cities that I'm not sure about) In case you are interested, or have any info that might help, here are said lists:
TOP FOUR: (All MFA Acting or MFA Theatre)
National Theatre Conservatory - Denver
Florida State University/Asolo - Sarasota
University of Florida- Gainsville
Indiana University- Bloomington
FOUR MIDDLE SCHOOLS:
UC San Diego (MFA in Dance Theatre)
San Diego State University (MFA in Musical Theatre)
Roosevelt CCPA - Chicago (MFA Acting)
American Conservatory Theatre - San Fransisco (MFA Acting)
MAYBE CONSIDERING:
University of Central Florida - Orlando (MFA Musical Theatre)
Florida Atlantic University - Boca Raton (MFA Acting)
DePaul University - Chicago (MFA Acting)
NEED MORE INFO:
Purdue University - West Lafayette (MFA Acting)
Illinois State University - Normal, IL (MFA Acting)
Kent State University - Kent Ohio (MFA Acting)
University of Texas Austin (MFA Acting) (Yeah yeah I know, Texas)

So, today I'm thankful for that list. It has been a long time coming. And I'm considering ruling out several programs just because they ask for the GRE! LoL. Especially since my top 4 don't! So, I'm grateful for my list and for my awesome friends who will hopefully help me prepare and chose and all that jazz. I'm also grateful for the knowledge that I do want to go to grad school. I know I'm ready to be back in that environment and I am going to get there!

Other things I'm grateful for:
  • The 16 bags of spinach, 8 cucumbers, 7 carrots, 15 apples, 10 lemons and various other produce that is taking over my fridge in preparation for the juice feast that I'm starting on August 1st!
  • The watermelon soup I made that is now chilling in the fridge. It is sooo yummy!
  • The amazing book called "Strike up the Band - A New History of Musical Theatre" that I'm reading. Such amazing research for NOMT and just SOO interesting.
  • My pile of six more books that I need to read before the end of the summer. Six weeks, six books! Here I go. (I'll probably read more than that, but fun books don't count!)
  • The sheet music for "Don't Stop Believin'" that came in the mail today! NOMT is going to go out with a BANG!
  • Pooka, for being adorable and always purring and helping me when I'm feeling down!
